Upgraded control system for the JÖRG Cut to Length line

The JÖRG Cut to Length line is equipped with a completely redesigned control system. This new control system not only makes operation simpler and more intuitive, but also ensures greater accuracy and provides better insight into the production process.

The new control system is clearly laid out and logically structured. Entering commands is faster and more user-friendly, as there is no longer any need to switch between different screens. Furthermore, up to eight different command lines can now be entered, allowing multiple tasks to be carried out in succession.

A key improvement is the addition of an encoder on the drive motor. This results in more accurate and consistent positioning of the material. Repeatability is now as high as ± 0.25 mm.

The new control system also provides greater insight during the production process. While tasks are being carried out, a clear progress indicator shows how far the machine has progressed with the task. In addition, users can easily read the number of sheets processed and the material consumption.

To further increase efficiency, the machine features functions for automatic feeding and clean cutting. The integrated slit stop function also helps to minimise material loss during slitting when cutting the last sheet in a series, resulting in less waste.

The control system is now also prepared to work with a motorised decoiler, so that it can be easily connected to the machine.

With this updated control system, the JÖRG Cut to Length line offers greater ease of use, higher precision and better insight into the production process.
