Collection and use of personal data of customers, suppliers and other contractors
We would like to point out to you that the personal data that you supply to us will be collected and used because this is required for the conclusion and implementation of a potential agreement with you. This applies to both our (potential) customers and parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.

Are you a (potential) customer of us then we use your data to send you an offer, to determine the specifications or wishes with which a certain good or service must comply, to deliver goods or perform activities for you, to invoice and to communicate smoothly and efficiently with you about the implementation aspects of the agreement.

Are you a (potential) supplier or other contractor then your personal data are also required for the conclusion and implementation of the agreement. In case of procurement this is required to inform you of the specifications or wishes with which a certain good or service must, in our opinion, comply, to send a request for an offer or to place an order with you, to pay your invoices and to communicate smoothly and efficiently with you about other aspects of the agreement.

You are not held to supply your personal data to us. If you do not supply personal data to us, or not sufficiently, then it may however be that we cannot perform the aforementioned activities.

Transfer to third parties
In connection with the implementation of a potential agreement with you it may be that we must disclose your personal data to parties who supply parts, materials and products to us or who perform activities under our authority. In addition, we use Microsoft Office and the relevant storage options for emails and other files. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service your personal data are transferred to the provider of the said service.

Direct marketing
If you supplied your name and address details to us, because you became a customer with us or because you requested an offer from us, then we can use these details to send you our newsletter or promotions or to invite you for an event, e.g. a trade fair. Every time we send this kind of marketing mailing to you, you are offered the possibility of unsubscribing. This will be stored in our data file.

Retention period for personal data
If you requested an offer from us but you did not become a customer with us then we will delete your data at the latest 5 years after our last contact. Also if we requested you for an offer but did not become a customer with you we will delete your personal data at the latest 5 years after our last contact. If you did become a customer with us, or we with you, then we will retain your personal data for the duration of at least seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was implemented in full. The period of seven years corresponds with the period during which we are held to retain our administration for the Dutch Tax Administration. After expiry of this period we will, were possible, delete your personal data.

Your rights
You are entitled to ask us to obtain information about your personal data. If there is reason for this then you can also request us to supplement your personal data or to correct inaccuracies. In addition, you are entitled to ask us to erase your personal data or to restrict the use of your personal data. You can also object with us to the collection and use of your data or submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Finally, you can request us to obtain your personal data or to transfer the said data to another party.
