JR Dakwerken takes the next step with machines from JÖRG Machines

As a young and dynamic roofing company, JR Dakwerken has been steadily building its reputation over the past five years. With great passion and enthusiasm, the company focuses on a wide range of roofing activities.

JR Dakwerken was founded just over five years ago. In the spacious and tidy workshop, all work is carefully prepared. Until recently, the company worked with a guillotine shear and a manually operated folding machine. At the end of 2025, Jeffrey Rothuizen, owner of JR Dakwerken, decided it was time to take the next step.

“Working with manually operated machines took a lot of time, and the final result was less precise than what we can now achieve with a motorized folding machine,” says Jeffrey.

After Gijs van Hesteren, account manager at JÖRG Machines, visited the workshop and provided a tailored proposal, the choice was made for a Schechtl MAB 310 CNC Folding Machine and a JÖRG Coil Processing Machine 4922. The reason for this investment was clear: to work more efficiently and further professionalize the business. At the beginning of April, both machines were delivered and installed by a JÖRG service engineer, allowing JR Dakwerken to get started immediately.

Since the arrival of the new machines, the workflow has changed significantly. “The biggest advantage is the enormous time savings. We can now cut and fold material directly with much greater speed and precision.” Conical folding in particular is considered a major benefit. “When installing gutters, we now save a tremendous amount of time. Previously, we still had to cut materials on-site to make everything fit, but now we can produce tapered profiles directly. As a result, the gutters fit together perfectly and the final result is much cleaner.”

The Schechtl MAB 310 CNC Folding Machine offers JR Dakwerken a great deal of flexibility in daily operations. Thanks to the CNC control system, profiles can easily be stored, and all machine movements can be controlled with precision. The machine is also equipped with a segmented clamping beam, making it easy to produce a wide variety of profiles. In addition, the conical back gauge provides extra convenience when producing tapered folding work.

The JÖRG Coil Processing Machine 4922 is equipped with a slit unit featuring three sets of slitting knives. Thanks to the hardened straightening rollers, the sheet material remains free from damage and scratches during processing. Its simple operation also ensures excellent ease of use in daily practice.

The combination of both machines has made the production process at JR Dakwerken considerably more efficient. Profiles can now be cut and folded quickly, accurately, and with minimal effort. With this machine setup, JR Dakwerken is ready for the future.
